2008 - count the blessings
There are some good things happening recently! Things are always unexpected.
1. 2 female colleagues suddenly told me that they wanted to follow me to church on Christmas eve. Although one of them suddenly fell ill on Dec 24, the other colleague did follow her friend to join another church's service! God bless them. BTW, they even sent me a Swarovski "plant" as a Christmas gift! So sweet.
2. Another middle-age male colleague suddenly told us that he has turned into God! But previously, he was a totally traditional Chinese believing in Feng Shui and other Chinese traditions. He recently faced many difficult things, causing him to learn to relax and go back to basic. He now even can speak in the "Christian language"!
3. My church finally has a Lift!!! It is really wonderful that a lift can be built after we have used the building for over 50 years! It is amazing!
Other good things in 2008:
1. My husband finished the Beijing Olympic Game IT Venue support successfully! But we need to deal with the tons of Olympic Game souvenirs!
2. I got a very good staff helping me this year. I also got more exposures in my job! It was also my first time to be a people manager.
3. I only took one day of sick leave early in the year! Thanks God for giving me good health.
4. Parents' health is good. Hope they can have a healthy life and condition.
Strange things happening recently:
1. I recently fainted inside MTR train after having dinner & drink with a friend. The train was stopped for some time due to this. I don't want to mention the details but I think MTR's service is very good and professional. But I have hurted my 尾龍骨. It has been painful for many days...
